These past few months have been outrageously busy !! Juggling four classes, two jobs, a plethora of scholarship applications/essays and preparing to go abroad to Bankok, Thailand for 5 months.
It’s all coming together. I have finally received my acceptance letter from Chulalongkorn University after several long weeks of anticipation and I am thrilled.
I feel so fortunate for such an amazing opportunity. Emerging from a low-income family with 4 siblings, a single mother, a non-existent father and overall very little guidance, I’ve somewhat managed to wander in a positive direction (hopefully). Though I may not be a “star” role-model, I am trying my best nonetheless and I hope to shed some inspiration with my achievements to others who share similar predicaments.
Always keep in mind. Persevere! Have courage and most importantly, believe in yourself even if no one does.
In less than 3 months I’m outta here for approximately 6 months.
Preparations to follow along with videos & updates about my trip!
